History: In the 1990s a group from Kokomo and Indianapolis contacted us about ghost research. They tested the William Polke 1832 house for ghosts. They offered to put on a Haunted program in October, using the Living History Village called Loyal, Indiana. They told ghost stories and set up scenes in each of the buildings. In 2005 Fulton County Historical Society volunteers decided to do a haunted show in the woods at the south end of the FCHS grounds, using the wooden booths already there for the Trail of Courage. This proved to be very popular, so they do it two weekends, usually the middle two weekends of October.
